CosmoBike Mobilty comes back !

The second edition of CosmoBike Mobility is about to start, the only B2B event in the Old Continent entirely dedicated to urban cycling.
At its onset the Verona’s event involved more than 500 companies and over 50 thousand visitors. A real exploit that organizers want to replicate from 16th  to 19th  of September, when Verona will be again a meeting and discussion place of associations, designers, administrators, technicians, companies... on everything regarding the design and the implementation of ‘bike-friendly’ cities.

CosmoBike Mobility will alternate round tables, seminars and meetings in which the sector operators will have the opportunity to meet the public administrations, to present their products and services in an exhibition area of ​​2,000 square meters at VeronaFiere.
2016 edition main theme will be "The City of Children", exploring the best strategies to make the city more welcoming to everyone, even to cyclists at an early age.

THE CITY OF CHILDREN
The first CosmoBike Mobility wanted to imagine the Italian cities in 2030 with a programmatic design. This second edition however will seek to represent the ‘city of children’, a great place where infrastructure and mobility’s programs are conceived and designed taking into account first the needs of weak and fragile people. If a city is hospitable to a child, in fact, it will be to everyone.

THE CITIES OF THE FUTURE
Many cities around the globe are trying to contain and reduce the consequences of the massive use of cars in recent decades, by reducing CO2 emissions, by planning most attractive public spaces and by reducing traffic. And an even more important task is that to change the use that parking areas can offer today.

THE CYCLE-LOGISTICS
It is a well consolidated phenomenon also in Italy, thanks to the emergence of new local industries in many cities, and thanks to the introduction of  bikes and cargo-bike in the leading international carriers’ distribution services and as part of the traditional postal services. With often surprising results, in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, costs.
It’s so better to try to fully understand a phenomenon bound to affect significantly the mobility in our cities for years to come.

But CosmoBike is obviously also a fair - today the most important one in Italy about the bike sector - where fans can see, dream, try the latest products of the most important companies of the bicycle industry and appreciate the performances by reckless bikers.
