It’s the longest off road path in Europe, an adventure through the most secret and hidden Sardinia: from Olbia to Cagliari following the old transhumance paths, through the mountain range that runs through the eastern part of the island. From the granite of Gallura to the highlands and the cork-oak forests of Buddusò, from the Supramonte’s limestone to the Gennargentu peaks and the Ogliastra’s heels. Then south, through the deep valleys of Flumendosa, to end on a winding single track on a ridge up to Campidano and the beaches of Cagliari.
A week long journey which winds for more than 80% on natural ground roads, through dirt roads, mule tracks and boundless paths; the best of mountain biking and the natural beauty of the island. This type of route is designed in order to achieve the maximum from path’s potential and the path is almost totally cycling, it always provides cycling climbs and fast connections on dirt roads with panoramic views, regarding descents have been selected mule tracks and the most exciting single tracks, for beauty and technique, that Sardinia has to offer.
