Go skiing at dawn!

When the mountain wakes up, skiing on the undefiled snow, at the crack of dawn.

This is the experience that you can live participating to the “Trentino Ski Sunrise” initiative, a spectacular skiing at sunrise which has been promoted by “Trentino Marketing” with the collaboration of Tourist Promotion Agency located in the region.

For early-rising people who love to try unique experiences, it is an alternative way to live the mountain and its snow.

The mountains of Trentino are the perfect location for this event, which is divided in five steps, each one matched to a different ski slope. The general formula has been already tested during the previous edition: meeting at the crack of dawn, ascent to the peak, breakfast in a mountain hut and then .. go down on the undefiled snow!  

During this event, the ski lift will open earlier in the morning and the ski slope will be meticulously prepared during the night, allowing participants to fully enjoy this amazing experience. All of it immersed in natural landscapes of great effect and in the magic colours of the sunrise.

The first step will be held the 10th of January in the ski area of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna, on the Alpe Cimbra’s ski slopes.

All participants will meet at 6.30 am at the start of the new Vezzena chairlift to reach the peak of the Virgo Maria Perg mount, in the Luserna forest, with the opportunity to admire a beautiful view of the Adamello’s glaciers, the Dolomites of Brenta, lakes of Valsugana and the Alpe di Vezzena. After the breakfast in the “Baita del Neff” mountain hut - with classic recipes of the local tradition - is time to face the ski slope, trying the emotion of skiing at the sunrise accompanied by ski instructors of Lavarone.

Also non-skiers will have the opportunity to have fun, coming back to the valley on walk or with snowshoes, always accompanied by an expert mountain guide. 

The second step of the “Trentino Ski Sunrise” will be held the 17th on January on the Paganella mountain, instead, the Alpe Cimbra will host again the initiative the 24th of January, the 14th and 28th of February, in different mountain huts and ski slopes compared to the previous event.
