Val di Sole, on the snow springtime!
SKIING AT SUNRISE

Val di Sole confirms as an active holidays area. And even the end of the winter season can offer weeks of holidays to snow enthusiasts. March and April are perfect months both for Nordic skiing and for snowshoes lovers, or even for those who just want to relax and admire the landscape, enjoying the first springtime sunbeams on the panoramic terrace of the hut.

In fact, part of the skiing resort - Passo Tonale and Peio - is located at 3,000 metres of altitude, allowing the winter season to continue until late spring.

Among the offers of “late season” here we have the sunrise skiing of “Trentino Ski Sunrise”, organised by the Trentino Marketing and by APT Val di Sole, and the Easter Special, perfect idea to say goodbye to the snow.

The offer “Trentino Ski Sunrise” is divided into different events: the last one is programmed on 31st March at Passo Tonale. Many the emotions to try: being the first ones to ski along the ski runs, while the first sunbeams passing through the mountains make the snow look pink; having breakfast in the huts with the freshly made local products; exploring the nature with your snowshoes... and a whole lot more.

Saturday 31st March, appointment on the Presena glacier, above Passo Tonale.  The rendezvous is at 5.15 a.m. by the Paradiso Cable car, thanks to which you will reach the 3,000-metre-high ski bar “Panorama 3,000 Glacier”, waiting for the magical show of the sunrise.
The new hut above the glacier is the perfect place to taste an excellent breakfast while listening to the notes of the band «In Full Swing Trio». All around, a 360-degree view on Adamello, Lobbie, Presanella and Pian di Neve, the widest glacier of the Italian Alps.
You will be the first to ski on the pure driven snow, together with ski instructors, at 8 a.m. If you want, you can also go to the Capanna Presena hut on Friday evening, to have dinner and relax in the wellness centre.

Another interesting event is the Easter Special (31st March - 8th April), which includes a 7-night stay, in a hotel or in a flat, and a ski-pass valid for 6 days on 350 kilometres of ski runs.  An opportunity to enjoy the snow at 3,000 metres of altitude in Pejo 3000 and of the Presena glacier, where the snow season will last long more.

For the more dynamic ones, Passo Tonale offers 100 kilometres of ski runs, included the “Paradiso” black diamond track - one of the most exiting ski runs of the Alps - the snow park, the ski cross track and the local après-ski.
Pejo 3000 is the front door of “Mite”, one of the longest ski runs and with the best view, very attractive thanks to the possibility to relax in the thermal baths after a day on the snow.
