The peaks of Trentino, step by step
TREKKING... MY LOVE

One step after another, between the landscapes of the Dolomites. Trentino has always been focused on "zero-emission" tourism, wellness and physical activity: in this context the Dolomiti Walking Hotel has been created, an association of 18 hotels that have chosen to put together expertise and love for trekking.

The area involved is vast: it stretches between the Adamello Brenta Park, the Stelvio National Park, Madonna di Campiglio and the Brenta Dolomites, to Val di Fassa, Moena and Canazei, San Martino di Castrozza, touching the border with South Tyrol, with the mountains of Latemar, Catinaccio, Sassolungo and Sella. Unique scenery, where guests can immerse themselves in hiking tours of all difficulty levels, with expert guides.

The Hotel owner is a central figure: he collects and evaluates requests of the guests, and then he organizes the walk group of the day (after a big breakfast of local products). However, there are also solitary excursions: hotels offer advice on routes, maps, nature guides who are part of a real "mountain library."

You can choose between nature walks with Nordic walking sticks to discover flowers, herbs and animals, or hiking on the trails that climb among the peaks along streams and lake shores, remaining enchanted by the waterfalls and the most scenic views.

For the most trained ones, there are Dolomite trekking that last up to 7 hours, and that wind in the wildest areas of the Trento Dolomites.

Some examples? The hike along the ridge of the massif Paganella Gazza facing the most majestic peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, overlooking the Adige valley, the Valley of the Lakes and the plain of the Basso Sarca up to Lake Garda. Or the five lakes tour on the western side of Madonna di Campiglio. Or the demanding climb to the Piz Boè.

The Dolomiti Walking Hotel club is sponsored by the Foundation UNESCO - Dolomites and by the mark Dolomites-World Heritage
